Wait.  Wasn’t it Christmas last week?  Suddenly seeing stores overflowing with glittering reds and pinks and “I love you” written in every script and language is a colorful reminder that it’s already February, and that 2012 is moving full speed ahead!  It’s the month of hearts; of both paper and human as February is American Heart Month.  The Heart Truth, a national campaign for women about heart disease sponsored by the National Heart, Blood and Lung Institute, urges women to see a doctor to determine their risk of heart disease and then start making changes to lower their risk.  The campaign’s message paired with the arresting image of a red dress is meant to deliver an urgent message to women: That it is never too late to take action to prevent and control risk factors.
